Our journey began with a simple love for Indian handicrafts.
Harman, our founder, has always been fascinated by fabrics, their prints, the stories they tell, and the artistry behind them. It was during a visit to Jaipur shortly after her marriage that she witnessed the beauty of traditional hand block printing up close. Watching skilled artisans transform plain fabric into works of art, one wooden block at a time, sparked an idea that stayed with her long after she returned home.
But as she began searching for hand block printed bed linen for her own home, she noticed something surprising. Beautiful, premium-quality cotton products crafted using block print techniques often came with premium price tags that made them inaccessible for many homes, or simply weren't available in unique designer collections. She believed handcrafted home linen shouldn't be a luxury reserved for a select few, it should be something more people could experience and enjoy.
That realization became just as important as the inspiration itself.
House of Harman was born from a simple belief: beautiful, handcrafted home linen should be accessible without compromising on quality, craftsmanship, or thoughtful designs.
What started as a passion soon found purpose when two of Harman's closest friends, Sailla and Shrinidhi, joined her on this journey. Together, they shared a common vision- to create thoughtfully designed home linen that celebrates India's rich textile heritage while fitting beautifully into contemporary homes.
Today, House of Harman works closely with artisan communities in Rajasthan, preserving the centuries-old craft of hand block printing while bringing fresh, elegant designs to homes across the country.
